A painful and long assembly process. The package is heavy. If you live alone like me get help bringing it into your apartment. Or else you will injure your back.But after the assembly, it looks great. Supports me and the bed very well. I bought a full. The size is good. It is sturdy. The last step of finally adding the slats are the hardest because inserting the slats in to the slots is really difficult. I had one slat which was short! I used my all fixing almighty super glue to fix the rod to the base finally. That is why I took off a star
We have been using this for six months. I assembled it myself following the instructions, but there is no complaints so far and the frame looks rock solid.
The bed is nice but over !100 pieces of hardward was missing from the package. Non existent quality control. Apparently this happens quite a bit. Company had fix in place when I called to report the problem. Very inconvenient when you have already disposed of your old couch/bed! Nice bed but terrible quality control.
I love it! Love the way it looks and sleeps and love that it took this 76 year old grandmother just 2 hours to assemble the day bed and just 1 hour to assemble the trundle. Instructions were easy to follow and every assembly piece was there. Have wanted a day bed/trundle for 40 years, thanks for making it affordable.
While this daybed looks great, it lacks the strength and the stability to serve its purpose unless you are willing to make modifications. The slats have no central support and easily bend with 15 lbs of weight applied to them. No wonder many people who bought this bed experienced the same issue. We ended up making an independent platform out of sturdy plywood, supported by nine 4x4 wooden feet to go under the slats to support the bed frame. Yes, that means the trundle bed can no longer be stored under the day bed frame, but we wanted a functional day bed that could be used as a couch seating 2/3 people easily during day time. Bottom/line: the price is right for what it is, but dont expect this bed to sustain the weight of adult/s without bending unless you are willing to make modifications.
This is a very pretty and sturdy frame. It looks like a more expensive metalwork frame. The black/bronze finish makes it compatible with most bedroom furniture. It was challenging to assemble, as many of the holes were drilled slightly off.

Very easy to put together! All parts fit together perfectly. Took less than an hour.
