We bought this bunk bed to replace an old set our kids had broken. For being a bunk bed in a box it was easy to assemble. Instructions were straightforward and in under 2 hours our boys were able to climb into there new beds. I loveeeee the ladder laying flat against the beds so that it doesnt take up foot space. It is definitely slippery to climb down but we fixed that with some sticky tape.
This is a good bed for under $500, but it isnt without its imperfections out of the box in terms of nicks and discoloration on the wood pieces. It wasnt worth doing any sort of exchanges or returns as we were in need of this bed now. The one disappointing part was the instructions stated that mattresses from size 5 in to 9-in would work, but that is definitely not the case for the bunk bed on top or the trundle underneath. The safety warning sticker on the bed even warns against using a mattress more than 8in thick.On top of that height of mattress raises the kid to an unsafe level and almost makes the guardrail useless, and the bed does not fit underneath with the trundle at 9 in either. Had to go take foam mattresses back to Target late last night out of their suction packaging and track down 6-in mattresses instead in order for the kids to be able to sleep safely. Lastly, I had bought bunkie boards as the item description said they would be needed, but the box came with wood support slats and a bunkie board for the trundle. So I will get these large 3 bunkie board boxes over to a ups store for a return. Overall, it was a good value for the $money$ but theres definitely some misleading parts of the item description that has caused some unnecessary hassles.
The bed after I fabricated some of the wooden support beams wasnt terrible. However it is super annoying they couldnt give me the correct parts. I had to use a router to cut a new slot for the headboard. Overall not he worst very affordable
Due to the mix of reviews I was hesitant with purchasing it. But I am more than happy!!!!！ with this purchase! My husband stayed up late to surprise our son, he said once he had everything laid out and sorted. It was very easy to figure out. It was labor intensive due to the size but seeing our sons reaction. He said it was totally worth it!

If you go slow and actually read the directions then you wont have a big forced hole in the back of the bed like a lot of these stupid reviews. Glad I decided to just go with it because its perfect minus one little piece at the very end it was kinda shredding but it was so small and not noticeable now so whooo cares!! Very nice bed yippeee!
I bought two of these beds for my 19 and 12 year old children, they are happy!!!!！, I highly recommend this product, I arrive on time, excellent materials, it looks very strong, I was looking for it for a while, I even bought from two sellers but it arrived Much of the product, I decided to buy a third time but I made sure that the seller was , the only thing they should to improve it is to put dowels where the screws are screwed, because if you want to remove it, the wood runs and it no longer tightens the screw.
These were perfect. Easy to assemble. It took my husband and I about 3 hours with stopping in between to finish. My boys are ages 7 and 4. The beds are big enough for them to grow in. Really sturdy.
