I loveeeee the bed and so do my littles. However, the instructions are horrible! Maybe Im old school (44), but back in my day there were at least some written instructions. The directions on this thing have none. Daddy put this together and had a heck of a time. Wasnt until I sat down and spent way too much time looking at them that I realized there are separate instructions on if you want the ladder on the left or right. They are interwoven, so be warned! Sadly, the ladder is on the wrong side now and no one wants to take it apart and reassemble.
all the parts were there, the cherry stain was classy, I had no problems for the directions. I did have to do some flipping around. pay attention where the ladder goes because its screwed to both top and bottom. I highly recommend because I visited 3 major furniture store and they could beat the price and I didnt see quality that was twice the price.
These bunk beds have worked out great for our newly 3 5yo girls! They werent too bad to put together (when you read the instructions especially One board was cracked but my husband was able to secure it with a couple more screws.
Like others mentioned, it is more of a cream/ivory than a true white but it looks great in the room.
The screws that hold the upper rail together came loose so my husband secured them with better bolts (see bronze colored bolts vs silver).
My girls are climbers and have been climbing the ladder, the ends of the bed and the sides without any issue so we are thrilled.
Cant beat the price too so highly recommend!
There is one piece of the bed that will not stay attached. The little piece on the back that stabilizes the rail. Also it could use about 2 more pieces for the mattress to not fall through. I purchased extra from Lowes. I just feel it couldve been about $50-75 less. However, my son loveeeees his big boy bed!
A lot of reviews about slat quality and not enough of them. I totally agree, which is why I took one of the slats to my local hardware store and had them cut me 14 more, cost me $20. But now each mattress is supported by 14 slats and is far more sturdy. I hopped my fat self on there (230lbs) and bounced a little, no issues whatsoever. If it can hold me it can hold my kids for sure. I also have a 11in thick Avocado mattress that weighs 76lbs. This does cause issues with the guard rail, so what do I do? Buy a extra guard rail board and attach that to the existing guard rails for a nice sturdy safe bed.
The one thing I am a bit worried about is that the beds are only attached to each other with a flimsy wood peg that goes from the top of the bottom bed posts about 3in into the bottom of the top bed posts . I have a few ideas on how to secure that a bit better but havent done that yet.
Overall not bad, just needs a little modification for support and high mattress.

Sturdy and simple
A little creaky and some pieces were chipped/broken but overall a sturdy piece that was fairly easy to assemble. Good buy
loveeeee it! BUT... Directions are awful!

I bought this set for my grandsons to visit, stay all night, and have their own space. The beds are very sturdy, and they loveeeee them!
A little modification goes a long way.
