I bought this for my 3 1/2 year old daughter, as shes transitioning out of her toddler bed. I put it together myself in the space of an afternoon ( stops and starts for other tasks ). The instructions were relatively clear and straightforward, and assembly was pretty easy - EXCEPT for the dang slats! Putting and keeping the back slats in was VERY VERY difficult, and for that part alone I wish Id had someone helping me. But, I got it done and my daughter loves it. The bed itself is really well made and seems very sturdy and will hopefully last her a long time.
This daybed is beautiful. It looks very good assembled and is the perfect height for my toddler. I pull the trundle out underneath about 6 to act as steps to the bedas well as a cushion in case she rolls out.
My only complaint is that its not as sturdy as I would like - particularly the guardrail in the back. If I lean on it, it bends. The way the slats attach to the guardrail, head and footboard is pretty shoddy. You have to use Styrofoam spacers to get a snug fit except it ends up not being snug at all and is kind of a pain to assemble.
Everything else is of good quality and what you would expect.
We have been very pleased with this daybed. It was easy to put together and looks really nice (especially considering the great price). The wood seems solid and once we paired it with a memory foam type mattress, our guests have all said great things about it. The mattress we purchased on .com fit perfectly (Sleep Master Memory Foam 6 Inch Mattress).
This is holding up very well, so far. With kids jumping on it, a 250+pnd person using it daily, and a lazy dog also using it daily. This has held up very well. A little difficult to put together, mainly because of the small wood slats on the back and sides. It did go together without any major problems with fittings or design. All the pieces were labeled and all the screws and bolts were labeled, so there was no confusion on what went where.
The only reason for the 4 out of 5 stars is that the wood finish is very susceptible to scratching and denting. I was taking off one of the placement labels, while putting this together, and scratched and dented the finish on one of the sides. The wood that is used for this is a softer wood not sure what type.
Package was an open box but everything inside was in perfect condition, no lost items,
I thought looking at the reviews the bed was gonna b a pain in te butt to put together but was a piece of cake, took me an hour by myself, I think lots of people writing reviews that u need 2 or even 3, 4 people to assemble this must have no skills at all cuz this was all common sense, u dont even need to look much at the instructions, well this bed its perfect lets see if the weight limit can stand some good nights with the women, good buy A+++
Recd and assembled by the hubby. He did say that there was one spot that he had to fix with the drill because it didnt seem to line up quite right when assembling, hence only 4/5 stars. Otherwise, seems solid and a quality piece. The bed it higher (even w/o boxspring) than standard bed, leaving LOTS of room underneath for storage which is fantastic. Packaged nicely for shipping as well. Would definitely recommend for the price ($199). I had been looking through all of the options out there for a daybed that our daughter was wanting to have. Cant beat this price for the quality. Very sturdy and should last very well.
Sturdy bed if youre not jumping around on it. Perfect for someone weighing 200 pounds and if your careful and dont plop down someone weighing 400 pounds can sleep on this bed although i wouldnt recommend it. After some use the screws become loose, so you will have to tighten them up every so often. Easily put together and a very beautiful color. Lots of room underneath frame. Does not come with mattress.
Turned out fine , though I used my own Allen wrench instead of the cheesy one that came with the bed. We acquired a memory foam mattress for it and it fits our need for a spare bed , though its permanently put together.
It is OK for the price, and does look good . I would not put weight over 200. It was a complete pain to put together . Finding a full size day bed was difficult to find, however, I dont think I can easy take it apart and put it in another room, which stinks .

I liked the feel of the wood and sturdiness of the structure. But was annoying to assemble the individual pieces , definitely requires two people.
Quality and sturdy furniture at a great price. Looks really nice with lots of storage underneath.
