I was searching for a couch that I could also use as a movie pit, guest bed, and stretch out on when bingeing Netflix. I also wanted something that could fit a good number of people should I decide to entertain, this couch does all of these things.
For context Im a bit guy 300lbs+ and 63, my partner is also tall at 510 we can both fit comfortably on this couch stretched out or laying down. I love the ease with which I can change the configuration and putting it together was as easy as screwing on the legs and attaching the fasteners to the chair backs and sides.
Here are the basics:
1. You are ordering ottomans. Just get that through your head this is not a traditional all inclusive piece its (in my case) 7 ottomans with back pieces, arm rests and pillows. All of which can be detached and adjusted.
2. It comes in as many boxes. Theyre not heavy but be prepared for that many packages. That being said if you cant pick up the boxes then theres a good chance moving the ottoman will be a problem for you.
3. Set up is extremely easy. I did it with one other person and from unbox to box breakdown had the couch up in an hour.
4. Its firm. I love a firm couch because it gives it some place to go with wear and tear but if youre not into that this couch isnt for you. Also its not overly plush so if you sit between two cushions youll feel the wood. I slept on it the first night in my apartment while waiting on my bed to arrive and I slept like a baby.
5. Youll feel some give when you lean on the backs and side rests. The fasteners are heavy duty but also leaves something to be desired by way of sturdiness.
6. My only worry is that the cushions will wear out within a year. But I think you can presence it by routinely rotating the cushions. Well see.
All in all I have no regrets and Im happy I didnt listen to other reviews that said it was too small, that big guys looked like giants when sitting on it, or that is wasnt a good quality. For comparable modular sectionals on or Wayfair I think this one holds its own. Id buy it again and I appreciate the space to expand the sectional later by buying additional pieces.
But, I am under no illusions that this couch is a long term purchase. I plan to be where I am for the next 3 years and would be highly surprised if it moved with me. So we shall see!
The initial quality is great. It is easy to unbox and put together as it was only the legs and brackets. The tools needed are included. Every piece has storage in it which is amazingly helpful. I slept on it for a few nights and it sleeps great. I recommend ordering one extra cushion and side panel but it works great as is. I got blue and its a nice color with alabaster walls.
Surprised by the product. The shipping was fast than expected using FedEx. The sectional is pretty big and good in size. Easily fits 4 people. Quality is good for the money. Easy to assemble and disassemble. Good if you have to move. Highly recommended.
Only 4 washers were missing. I created using cardboard. Not a big deal. Dont look elsewhere and buy it.
I LOVED this couch! I was very skeptical at first, buying a couch online made me very nervous, but I do not regret it at all. It was probably the most comfortable couch Ive ever owned. It is so easy to put together that even at 30 weeks pregnant I was able to assemble it all on my own. My fiance and I both have napped on our couch on many occasions, and Ive had friends and family be amazed at how comfortable a couch from could be. When my fiance and I had to move out of state, I left it with my parents as a surprise and my mom was thrilled. I was so sad to leave my couch, but we plan on buying a new one for our new home and I can not wait!
Love, love, love this couch. Ordered the 7 piece. My husband and two children fit together perfectly. Theres room to lay different ways. I can move pieces when we want to dance or do yoga. Its just plain super comfortable. I dont know if it would hold up to people who were very heavy-set, but its just right for us. It was a big purchase, but worth it to spend a lot of time snuggled up as family. Its pretty much my dream couch. Love the storage too. So many blankets and DVDs and.....
My roommate and I needed to buy a decent couch for the next year. This proved to be a great option — it wasnt ridiculously expensive, it looks stylish, it feels comfortable, and most importantly, its modular. When we move out next year, each of us can easily take half of the couch and buy more parts for ourselves if necessary.
The only complaint is that the cushion seating is a little bit on the shorter end. The L shape allows us to stretch out and there is plenty of space for two people — but normal seating is a tad short for someone 6+ in height.
I like that its easy to assemble and that you can make it fit any space you want. If you need a longer couch its seats 4. Or you can make it into a sectional

A convenient couch for the price
