Bunk bed arrived sooner that estimated arrival date which was great! Assembly went without any problems and quicker that other customers had stated, probably 3 hours. Discovered the box containing the drawers had not arrived but one call to the manufacturer and a new shipment was sent and arrived in a few days we and the grandkids are very happy with the bunk beds.
My husband was basically able to assemble the whole thing in a little more than a few hours with me helping hold a few pieces a couple of times assembling the frame but he is really good doing handy work around the house. He was actually pleased with the quality sturdiness for the price (he was skeptical when I initially ordered the bed) We did have to cut a thin piece of plywood to fit on top of the top bottom slats to reinforce. I dont think even a coiled mattress would have worked very well on the top bunk without extra support, slats or a bunkie board. I would have rated this a 5 if it wasnt for that they didnt do the best job packing it for shipping one of the ladder legs got a pretty good ding in it. Other than that there was really only 1 other small blemish on the paint. All pieces fit together well seems like its going to work great in our sons room! There was a little bit of an odor for a few days after assembling.
My box came damaged and had some dings on the wood. Luckily I was able to cover the damage with a support piece provided. I also ordered a gray one and got a wood grain instead. Which wasnt even an option when I ordered. I like the color so I guess I lucked out there. Overall the bed was easy to assemble and seems sturdy. Took me about an hour to put together. Youll need some tools of your own to get it done that fast. The tools provided would take forever. They dont include all the tools for assembly. Youll need a philips head screwdriver. Although you should have one of those anyway. Great value for the price. Id recommend this bed for sure. My kids love it.
Im giving them a 3 because they cancelled my order when asked, unlike the company that I tried to cancel and they refused. Both are basically trash materials screwed together with sketchy hardware
Not easy to assemble. Had a thousand and one pieces. They werent labeled properly. With 2 people it still was pretty challenging BUT the bed itself is wonderful. Sturdy. Nice looking. I love it. Just assembly was the downfall.
I put it together twice (we moved). First time wasnt too bad / recommend a helper for attaching the frames to the head /foot board. Other than that pretty easy to put together. Disassembling, moving and reassembling was a breeze! Use a cordless drill with a hex bit, not the allen wrench it comes with!
Drills make it easier to assemble. Kids love it. Being organized when you put it together make it ten times easier to build. Be careful when assembling wood chips easy. Ladder is a little tight to attach to the bed frame. Over all great product. It sounds like a lot of negatives, but its still standing against two very strong willed toddlers.

Good for the price
My daughter loves her bed. I think it will last at least 5 years. The quality is probably 8 out of ten. Looks great put together.
