It only took me and my neighbor with her baby strapped to her back 3 hours to put this together. Worth it! My toddler daughter loves her big girl bed, and we keep the trundle pulled out halfway every night so that we dont need to worry about her rolling off. Sturdy, well made and reasonable to put together. It did, howver, arrive in about 9 HUGE boxes, so be prepared to spend your saturday unpacking, building, then cleaning up.
This bed is really nice for kids room. The only problem was one of the headboards arrived badly crushed. I do not know how that happened because the box was not damaged and there was a lot of protection inside. Contacted the company and they said they were sending a new piece Fedex, but has yet to arrive, been waiting about a month already. It was fairly easy to put together, but the slats under the mattress seem a little flimsy, but will be ok for young kids. The draws underneath are really nice and great for storage in tight spaces.
Nice, sturdy bed. I gave it 4 stars because it was damaged in 2 places when we received it and the package was left in very rainy and windy weather. I work close to home so i was able to run home and put the packages inside. It came in 3 separate boxes so it was easy for 1 person to move.
I would categorize this purchase differently depending on which item was being reviewed and wish I could do so. The bed I would give a 4 and the trundle I would give a 1 or 2.

Composite wood than I thought there would be. I suppose this is to make it easier to ship, yet thought it was important to note.
There are about 10 flats that go under the mattress for both the trundle and the bed. I do think this bed would make me nervous with someone who weighs more than 200 pounds, as the flats are really pretty thin and small.
The bed, aside from being made more of composite than I thought, is really pretty easy to assemble and think the parts I received were of good quality.
The trundle I received was not great. The drawers wouldnt align with their spaces and kept falling out of their brackets. I thought that this might have been my error, but after disassembling and reassembling the trundle a second time I took a closer look at the drawers. The brackets on each, as a result of the drawers being made of composite wood, were loose and the screws were slipping out of their holes. Sure enough, less than a month after putting the bed and trundle together, one of the brackets on one of the drawers simply fell off last night. I am pretty angry that it just simply fell off. I would not recommend the trundle at this time, but would absolutely recommend the bed.
This is a great bed overall - It looks really nice - great for a boys room or girls room; cant go wrong with white furniture. There are some build quality issues as noted by most other buyers, but they are not big issues. The knobs are very cheap plastic, and the railing for the drawers has a bit of build integrity issues - rails are not all perfectly sized, so some of the drawers open/close smoothly and others do not - you may have to keep switching the rails to find a compatible pair. There are 3 drawers, 2 are perfect, one is rather off-placed, making it sound and feel like the rails will eventually bend on one side..
I bought this for my 5 year old granddaughter and had it shipped to their house. I wasnt there, but I hear that the assembly wasnt too difficult. I have seen it since, and the quality appears to be decent for the price. My granddaughter really likes it, so all is good.
we love it! Works great in our toddler/preschools room. The bed is high but our almost 4 yr old managed to find a way to climb in just fine or uses a step stool. LOVE the 3 drawers below and the trundle we look forward to using once we get a mattress.
