This is essentially an bed, the same price point, and assembly methods, but definitely not the same quality. It arrived (late) and was every piece of wood was heavily dented, after assembling some parts, I noticed that one of the boards was split almost completely in half. It is definitely worth spending a little bit more to get an bed, much sturdier and always reliable.
I absolutely loveee the bed, its so simple. The wood smells good and looks good. The only disappointing thing is that I had to clean it up a bit when it got here. Im actually surprised that every piece made it here. The box it came in was completely torn up. The bed pieces where hanging out of the box and one of the smaller pieces was just laying beside the box upon arrival. From the box being so torn up the wood got a bit dirty but I was able to clean it. The part I couldnt fix was the chip in one of the pieces. The chip wasnt big enough to compromise the integrity of the bed but its still a bit disappointing.
Purchased this frame in the dark brown, and put it together in anticipation of the new mattress getting delivered today. Yes, it took me a couple hours to put it together, but not because it was difficult, but because the design was really thought out for shipping, and ease of handling. All the pieces were solid wood (not engineered wood/plywood), so its quite sturdy. One little piece was chipped out of the various pieces, but easily hidden under the blankets at the end. This thing went together likeee clockwork, and is STURDY! much sturdier than the frames, and what I particularly likeee about it is the slotted sections for the cross members to slip into, ensuring that all the pieces stay in place, and the slight lip to ensure the mattress doesnt slip off. Couldnt be happier for the price point!
I bought this bed for my 5 year old. It was super easy to put together, seems sturdy enough, and its nice looking. My only issue is that when I put a twin size mattress on it, there is a pretty large gap around the mattress, the frame is bigger than a normal twin bed frame. Luckily, her blanket will cover it, so it wont be too noticable when her bed is made.
This is a great bed for a kid! I bought it for my son, because he had outgrown his toddler bed and I wasnt ready to bump him up to a full size. He loveees it!
I probably wouldnt suggest it for a teenager or adult in a small space, as I am well under the weight limit and it still creaks when I sit on it, but for a kid its perfect!
Easy to assemble sturdy bed. I bought it for my elder son. He loveeed it. now I bought same for younger one. Great value for $money$. My kids ( 6 year old) jump on it but its so strong.
The bed didnt come with enough screws. I contacted customer service they did respond right away send me the extra parts. However some of the screws still didnt fit right. Weve been using the bed for a month or so now its very creaky. We are both small to average sized adults it feels likeee we are going to break the bed any day. The wood looks nice thats probably the only positive. Will probably have to buy a new one shortly lose the $money$ since its after the return date. I bought a similar frame for the guest room by a different company. It was easy to assemble hasnt had any issues. So keep shopping around.

Solid bed, sustainably sourced wood!
