The bed is solidly built and was easy to assemble. It works as expected and the drawers provide functional storage for extra bed linen or a guests clothes. Im pleased with the purchase.
Good product for the Price. Easy assembly and looks sharps, the only its 4 star is I had to do some minor modifications to the slats.
The slats did not fit into the head and footboards securely and after just a couple nights of use the slats fell out. I shimmed the slats and also counter sunk 1 inch screws through the slats into the the cross joists in the middle of the platform to secure the slats in place. ! also placed duct tape over the screws to avoid them potentially ripping my mattress. All-in-all I am happy with the product and would recommend/buy again.
The drawers were hard to put together and we didnt use the little white thing with the screw the instructions were not easy too read the bed took longer than it should have
This unit sat lower than what I wanted. We ended up modifying the base to add height to it. We also added a solid plywood sheet on top of the slats before putting a Sleep Number bed on top. The unit is now at the height I wanted, and it looks wonderful along with the BHHQ-0520-2A Nightstand Headboard, Black, Queen we purchased at the same time. All the electric wires and motor for the sleep number bed are all hidden under the bed, with plenty of room. The drawers wont hold a lot of weight, but they will be adequate for storing extra pillows, sheets and blankets.
The bed is great for its price. Assembly wasnt too bad for just one person. I had only one problem, one support wasnt predrilled and caused it to crack. Added a few extra screws so it was fine.
