Love it but for the broken headboard piece -

The bed frame is beautiful. I was disappointed with the broken decorative knob. Im sure it happened in transport and my daughter was desperate for a bed frame so I cant send it back - or I totally would. Is it possible for a partial refund to the purchase? That would be the best!

    Worth the effort of building

Pros: -very sturdy -excellent instructions -extra hardware included Cons: -lots of pieces, take your time building -one photo in instruction manual is too dark to read -I wish there was more room under it for storage Overall an excellent product for the price. Even though I think bedframes are ridiculously expensive considering their simple materials and purpose. We purchased this to replace a $79 one we had purchased on that had bent overtime. The added channels and support in the center of this one seemed like it would help this one hold up longer.

Decent quality, but bad machining on several parts

The bed itself seems fairly sturdy when put together. However, putting it together is an ordeal. I purchased two bed frames. On one frame, the cross beam bars would not fit into the slots and I had to hammer them in (breaking the plastic connecters in the process). On the other bed, five of the screws snapped at the end while they were still sticking out about 1/2. If you have patience and are willing to MacGuyver putting it together when needed, it's a decent frame for the price.

    Product Arrived Damaged

I was really excited about this bed frame because it was cute and in my price range. However, part of the frame arrived damaged and made the already exhausting assembly process more tedious. I emailed their customer support and they were super accommodating. I love this bed.

    Nice guest bed

We really like the look of this bed for our guest room. However, one of our sons had to put it together because there was no way we could do it. Then we moved. The movers had trouble dismantling it and putting it back together in the new house. I highly recommend that it go into a room where it is unlikely ever to be moved - unless, of course, you are very handy and like puzzles.

Super sturdy and easy to put together with 2 people!

I love how sturdy this bed is. Its in our guest room. I would say if you have a thick mattress, dont buy this as it covers quite a bit of the wooden headboard, but its still a really great piece for the price!

    Nice looking frame

This frame looks a lot nicer than I expected. The wood section adds a nice touch. The bed is sturdy and quiet. No squeaking! It was simple to put together. I recommend this frame.

Ok, but disappointing for the price (see details)

The situation report is that you need a bed. Obviously you'll need to source a mattress, but what are you going to do about the frame? In general, there are traditional and tool-less fold-up bedframes that represent the lowest common denominator of frame options. Those are functional, but what if you don't want to look like you're on a prison bed? Metal-Wood Queen Bed Frame with Headboard (14 High) to the rescue - maybe. The comes in a compact box, but it assembles quickly and easily. You get a headboard large enough to keep you pillows from falling behind your mattress, but smaller than the metal hoop that outlines how large the headboard SHOULD have been. Why isn't it? Chalk it up to packing size, material cost cutting, and shipping weight. The things that make the product easy and profitable to produce also make the kind of unsatisfying. Yes, the frame is metal, but it also is very light. While it's pretty strong, you can also inadvertently move your whole bed by bumping into it in the dark. Speaking of bumping into the bed, the mid-rail legs are placed in an unfortunate position. It makes sense to put them at the midpoint of the load-bearing rail, but it also means that you will whack your toes into the legs on a regular basis (if you are as clumsy as me). This seems like an instance where a latitudinal crossbar would have been a good idea. The shortcomings of this bedframe, and their possible solutions, all point back to one thing... this is an entry-level bed frame. Assuming that your budget is under two hundred dollars, is this your best option? For me, the answer would be a no. There's a Sha Cerlin bedframe that costs less, has both a wooden headboard AND footboard, and it looks better (though that's subjective).
