So I purchased this and put it together completely by myself. There were some components that would have been easier with a second person, but it took me about 45 minutes to put together and part of that was dragging the box inside (tad heavy). I love the look.
I personally dont hear any creaking as described in some of the other reviews, but Im also not jumping up and down on the bed.
I also purchased the LinenSpa 8 memory foam and springs mattress. Its comfortable enough. This is not my main bed / its for a guest room/office but I slept on it to test and it was fine. Well see how it lasts.
Love the look of this bed! Assembly had easy to follow direction and the material seems sturdy. I was surprised what good quality this bed had considering the price I paid. This bed is worth every cent and more!
Nice bed. We have it on our front porch as a seating place and it fits well and looks really pretty. Very happy with it. Fairly easy to put together (nary a cussword was uttered)!
Pewter! No, its a flat paint. Maybe the bronze is black, which would have been better, but box and item too big to try to do a return. Just assembled yesterday. My husband did the hardest parts, twisting pieces into straight alignment, etc. Three of the 20 plastic pieces to hold in the cross bars that support the mattress snapped during assembly, but we left them in. Seems solid, other than that and kid is thrilled. This is one of the few full size daybeds out there, definitely a great price. Plenty of room for under bed storage. Bed is really high up with a thick mattress and foam pad.
