I was a little nervous ordering chairs that I ha never actually sat in - but these are just GREAT! They are very solid and large - able to accommodate large or tall people. I ordered 8 - they come unassembled - but it only took an hour to put all 8 of them together - they look fabulous in our dining room. The black looks very very classy.

Solid and easy to assemble. Not a perfect match to the Stakmore table, but close enough to be pleasing to the eye. Very comfortable, I dont know what some reviewers were squawking about. If you dont mind a multi-leaf table the combination of these chairs along with the Stakmore table will save you several hundred dollars over the East-West dining sets or other brands.
