Great value and great product! Like most other reviewers, it took a while to build but was easy to understand. It is sturdy and I can easily climb and lay on the tpp bunk.
Plan to spend a lot of time assembling, but the instructions were good and fairly easy to follow. One piece was broken and they answered immediately to my email and send the new piece. The beds look great
We were looking for bunk beds for our children and really liked the twin over full style as we could use it for guests or kid sleepovers etc. We also wanted the stair option rather than a ladder. Felt more secure. I liked this one as its solid wood, no particular board so it should last a long time. Also, you could seperate the beds and use them individually if wanted. It did take quite a while to assemble. Think my husband put it together (with kid help) over a 3 or 4 evening period. Drawers are nice in the stairs for storage.
We are happy with our purchase. It came in 4 boxes, on two different days. It feels very sturdy. Instructions were good, but just due to the nature of the product it was hard to build. Would recommend giving yourself at least 5 hours with two people. We also were missing two bolts for the railing which is a bummer.
Great space saver for sleeping 4 kids. Assembly instructions are a little sketchy and there are places that could use pilot holes for ease in assembly but overall great bed.
I recommend starting at step 2 then going back to step 1 and assembling the inside portion of the drawers because our part numbers were reversed for the drawer railing assembly.
Two-and-a-half years later and the bed is holding up well.
This is THE most IMprecise furniture I have ever bought. The 4 long pieces of guard boards for upper bed have different lengths. You are reading it right, 4 different lengths. I ended up trimming them with a saw. Otherwise, either I leave a huge gap at the end of the shorter ones or the longer ones bend as I close the gap.
This bed was easy to put together, but a few tips. Lay out the parts (of which there are many) and the specific instructions for each section first. Do this in a separate room and bring each section in as needed per the instructions. Build the bed in-place, it is very heavy and hard to move once assembled. There are three sets of instructions (one for the bunk beds, one for the stairs and one for the bottom roll away bed) that are not interchangeable, but the hardware is interchangeable. Took several hours for two people with battery drills (be sure to adjust the depth/speed gauge for the drills. It is very easy to bury the screws in some areas. Once finished building the beds, went around and tightened all the screws/bolts after it had been used for several days. Since then no loose screws/bolts and everything is tight and sturdy.

Directions are sketchy but worth the head scratching effort

Challenging to assemble, but great once its done.
So this bed is amazing once its assembled, but it literally took us 3 weeks of afternoons to get it done.
Will recommend
Love it so far although it leaves a smell with it seeing that its new.
