    Awesome product

I enjoyed so much sleeping on my bed and it's easy to assemble. Who like everything about IKEA products and unfinished wood is the one and only furniture. Thank you.

    Do Not Buy

I purchased 2 of these for my toddlers. Assembly wasn't great (misaligned holes, some screws didn't fit and some were hard to access to tighten fully). One of the side rails was bowed, but not enough to be un-usable. I got both beds assembled, painted and in to the kids room and with in a week, slats started breaking. These are toddlers (1.5 and 3.5) and they do not/are not allowed to jump on the beds. Additionally, when the slats break it causes an additional safety hazard under the bed if I am not right there and the kids crawl under for any reason. Highly disappointed. Can't find a way to contact seller. Would like at least a partial refund but don't think that packaging and shipping large broken bed parts back should be required. Purchase at your own risk...

    Worth the money, for now

The bed was shipped securely, arrived sooner, not as heavy as I expected. Got it about two months ago. Plus side: Easy to assemble with clear instructions (I did it alone in about 3 hours, and am no handyman). All screws fit well! Minus side: The next day one of the slats cracked, but superglue helped me patch it quickly. I think the trick is to balance weight when moving because faint squeaking is prevalent. If time available, reversing slats (upside down, downside up) at given month intervals may help them last longer -- just a thought. There is a persistent 'preservative' smell which is now fading. For the money, and for a single person not weighing more than 150 and looking for a temporary bed I recommend it.

You are going to need to replace the slats.

the bed is beautiful, but not strong. My son sat on it. They are not strong. We replaced them with stronger boards and are hoping now the frame holds up. Get what you pay for.

Simple to follow instructions, even a great grandmother can put it together!

I am a great grandmother; it only took me about an hour and a half to put it together. The instructions were simple to follow.
