I was surprised at how easy it was to assemble this shelf. I think it is the exact perfect size for my room. It is not too long or too deep but it will hold 50 pounds which makes it very durable. I really only plan on putting a sound bar in it for now and maybe a flameless candle. I love the styling and I love that it is a floating shelf. It makes it so much easier to clean the floor underneath and also gives the illusion of space in an otherwise small room. I think youll love this little shelf. I plan on putting a TV above it mounted on the wall. But, it really does have many other uses other than just for electronics. I felt it was a very good economic value as well.
I got this shelve to set my new sound bar, hmm will probably replace it sooner than expected, the brackets that hold the shelve on to the wall are only held but 2 screws on the side of the inside walls in the middle of the shelve, very weak spot to attach those brackets, so far I only put the sound bar plus my ps4 and with that alone it doesnt feel sturdy enough, Im sure if you have kids and theyre tall enough to reach it they can easily take that thing down no problem, not in my case since my son is o Lu 1yr old but definitely the minute it feels lose that thing is going down the trash.
I love the mid-century look of this TV stand! The legs are gorgeous, and it has a lot of storage between the cabinets and drawers. We mounted our TV above the stand, and it looks modern and elegant. It seems sturdy and the doors open and close with ease. I would have preferred different handles that complement the style better, so I will be replacing those with something more stylish. The woodgrain could be better. I feel like it is much darker and looks a bit cheap in person which is disappointing.
This is a very well designed and implemented piece of furniture. The holes all line up perfectly, all of the pieces are cut accurately. I liked how all of the hardware has its own bag with lettered stickers, which takes all of the guesswork out of assembly of the kit. Most of these bags have an extra piece or two in case one gets lost.
The instructions couldn't have been clearer. My assembled unit is very strong and sturdy. I'm very happy with this purchase.
