Great beds, I bought the black/blue and white/pink. Had them for about 3 years and they have held up well. They were a giant pain to put together though, the pieces didnt want to match up well and it took a lot of forcing to make it happen. They are a bit squeaky. I did feel like my kids were safe in them though compared to larger loft beds with ladders.
Overall I'm pleased with this purchase. My 5 yr old loves his new bed! The bed is sturdy and fits well in a small room. The assembly was very time consuming. I've put together a lot of furniture and this by far was the most time consuming. The directions are generally good, one minor error that is easily corrected. However, there are hundreds of pieces/hardware. I think the manufacture should have pre assembled some parts. It unnecessarily complicated and took my husband and I five hours. But the bed is study and really adorable with the fire house curtain I purchased separately.
Great set up! Thought it was going fto be a little bit taller, but height still works out. Took about 2 1\2 hours to assemble. Came with all parts and a couple extra. Only thing you will have to have that they do Not give you, is a screwdriver.
This bed is fantastic. Its just the right size for my four year old and he is obsessed with it. The fire truck curtains are easy to put on and really complete the look for the fort part underneath. There is a good amount of space underneath. IT IS HARD TO PUT TOGETHER. It took 8 hours over two days for me to put this together. The sides and the stairs were the hardest. If some of the bolts are too tight the holes wont line up and you will have to loosen it and then put the other part on and then go back and tighten everything again. Id like to see some more support for the slats too but overall o think it will work for a few years. I am 130 pounds and have slept on it no problem . Its very sturdy and doesnt really move at all.
I bought this loft bed for my 3 year old son as his first big boy bed. He absolutely loves it! It's not too high off the ground, which is great for his age. He has no problem navigating the steps and really enjoys playing under the bed. Great value for the price. I love the fact that, although the bed is wood, it doesn't squeak when he moves around on it. It is very sturdy. I highly recommend this loft bed!
Great cute bed for kids. Great price for parents. My son is 4 years old and is doing great sleeping on it.. It's a wood bed (round pipes) with wooden steps.
It took me four hours to put it together by myself, two handy people should be able to do it in less than three hours, all parts and hardware came, no missing parts. Instructions are easy to follow. The steps and drawers was the hardest part to put together. I will recommend finger tight everything first then use a tool to tighten the screws.
The bed is very steady. The mattress is a regular twin size, I bought an 8 mattress that will give you about 4 of extra rail.
I bought the mattress and firehouse curtains separately from too.
The bed was rather low and we are getting bed risers. The steps were defective, pre drilled holes were missing and some of the wood casings were not threaded to allow screws in. Despite the issues, we were pleased with the over all product and our son loves it.
