Honestly, the only part that was challenging putting it together was getting the hinges attached on the lid. Youll need an extra pair of hands! Other than that, great product!
Even being super careful putting the screws in, the built in clips froze up and came out not allowing it to tighten. My husband bought small clips and fixed it ,only b/c it would have been too difficult to un assemble and return. Looks nice and hoping it holds up but def not worth the money.
The hinges seem to strong for the screws. As soon as I closed the top the little screws ripped out and bent the hinge. It looks like it would be a really nice piece of furniture but they need to fix those hinges.
A great bench for the price, very well made. I love to paint, so I put my painting supplies in it and made a cushion for it. I am very pleased with it.
I really like this shoe bench and what it has to offer. Nice place to sit and put on your shoes and simple storage inside and underneath. I really like manufacturers that give you extra screws and bolts. This bench came with one extra screw for each size. No more frustration of having a missing screw. Kudos to them. Just a bit of advice, when installing the initial box, the side panel where the hinges are installed. There are two screw holes with plastic retainers. That faces inside and then the bottom panel, those holes face toward the floor. Otherwise, I love the fact they label their screws with letters. Very easy to install.
We liked the bench but were missing 3 screws needed to secure the top seat/storage section to the frame—so we had to purchase missing parts and opted to get bolts and screws instead of just used the screws provided. Now it is much more secure.

Bench with rack

Table/Bench Worth Every Penny!
We were amazed to see the sturdiness and heaviness of this table. It is well built with a storage unit and a table on the bottom. Very pleased!!!!
