This twin loft bed crosses over the foot end of a double bed and allows the full size guest bed to still be used by adults loft bed becomes a great spot for a suitcase or gear or a great 2 bed unit for the visiting little ones. Very sturdy and well thought out assembly.
I managed to put it together in about 90 mins. The pieces corresponded perfectly. I made one mistake but placing one of the bars upside down. The instructions could have warned about it like it did with some of the other pieces. Fortunately I was able to quickly identify the problem and fix it in a few minutes.
Its a tad wobbly but Ill be putting heavy stuff underneath. No creaking. Day 1 was good . check back in 6 months to see if Im still up there.
Note: This is a 150lb adult using the unit.
Okay so a little back story My son just turned 4 btw. I originally bought my son a wooden loft bed with desk and book shelf attached under it. It was huge and took up a great deal of space in his room. Not only that, he was terrified of getting on top of the bed. It was so sad. He hated his bed. Well a year later we moved. We didnt want to take the bed. He hated it, it was heavy, huge, just a huge hassle.
Soooo. that brings us to now. Looking on we found this bed! It is the perfect height, and doesnt take up much room.
It took about 2 hours to put this bed together by MYSELF. It was soooo easy. My son loves it! Hes not scared to climb up there. He has a whole play space under the bed to house all those toys that keep growing!
Best of all, I had a 50 gift card, so the bed only cost 80!!! SOOOO stinkin happy with my purchase!!!!
this bed exceeds my approval and i haul alot of high end furniture and this is as well or better planned out and can be assembled very easy by one or two ppl in less than 2 hours.u will not get a cheaper price than on nor will u find a better product for this price anywhere
It is a very durable bed. My girls love the space underneath, it is great for small rooms. We used pipe hangers for extra support, so it does not pull away from the wall.
I bought one to try then i bought 4 more for all my kids and niece / nephew.
I put all 5 of them together with the help of a 12 year old. Took about a hour each and they are holding up perfect almost a month later and have no problems.
I love this bed. I bought it for my 7year old son and he loves it. Took my husband and I about 1 1/2 hours to put it up. It is very sturdy. When my son lays in it he is just about below my eye level so it is the perfect height. It was great for us because we do not have high ceilings!! I also love the fact there is so much room underneath. The possibilities if what to do are endless. Weser him up with a man cave he has a tv and his xbox set up under there with a gamer chair and a bean bag. His younger sister is often under there with him playing xbox. She loved his bed so much that she wants one of her own!! I have nothing but possibility to say about this bed. It was exactly what we were looking for!!!!
The devices securing the metal slats are cleverly designed. One interlocking set stabilizes the lot, providing mid/line support, and another type secures them in their slots.
We bought this for our four year old daughter; I plan to create a play space underneath / it is definitely playhouse height. It is a great size for very young children / high enough to be fun to sleep on, without being difficult for an adult to reach.

Would buy again was shorter than I thought it would be but height did not disappoint EASY assemble very well thought design. Like it alot.

We were going to build one of these, but then saw this one at a family members house and we decided to get this instead. SO glad we did.
