Good bed for the price for our 3 year old. He loves it.
Update: bed still great. I went to order another for the same room for my younger son and wanted them to match. I got the bed but didn’t open the box for a few months until he was ready to be moved out of his crib. When i opened it they did NOT match. Be careful when ordering as sometimes they switch up the styles. The new bed is fine just doesnt match the old one and it bothers me.
Sturdy when assembled. Some assembly required. One of the bolts supplied was not machined completely and was not able to be used, requiring a quick run to the hardware store.
Finally, I replaced my 10-year-old mattress with this 8 inches cool sleep and pressure relief, medium-firm memory foam mattress. The mattress arrived vacuumed and packed in a box in 2 days.
I had it laid down on the floor for the day to have it air out. The mattress is medium-firm without much odor.
It was a pleasant surprise that I slept through the whole night without flipping and turning on my first try. It is just the right firmness to support my archy shoulder, my back, and my hips comfortably.
We purchased this bed for our almost-2-year-old’s “big boy room. It looks really good and is surprisingly sturdy. Put a good mattress on this thing and it’s really comfy. And now instead of him getting into our bed, we can put him back in his! Perfect!
I bought the Twin XL frame. Very solid framing material with nice finish. It is very easy to assemble and very study to lay on. I like the additional height for making it easier to roll out of bed.
