We ordered two of these for our twin girls. Both beds snapped in the same spot within the first 2 weeks. Easily reinforced with some 1x3, but it’s clearly a poor design (I noted it even when assembling… the brace wood is not continuous, and sure enough both beds snapped right where the two pieces met. They look good, but they won’t last. I would not recommend purchasing.
Bed frame came in today. Shipping was very quick. Plus side to this frame: it’s solid wood, great price for what you’re getting, sturdy.
It is lower to the ground than I had anticipated but that’s not entirely a bad thing for us since it’s for our 3 year old son.
The box arrived taped back together with the screws and dowels taped to the outside of the box. Usually I would blame who ever delivered it but in this case there was a giant sticker on it that stated “arrived unsealed which leads me to believe that shipped the box with it unsealed or not sealed well. Either way, we were missing dowels and some screws. Luckily we had extra that happened to be the right size so I didn’t have to worry about running to the hardware store.
While this frame was fairly simple to put together, the instructions were absolutely horrible. The parts weren’t labeled in anyway so you just kind of have to guess which part belongs where. The directions had no words and the pictures weren’t very clear either. Basically I looked at the finished product picture and guessed how the parts went together.
Overall I’d say other than the missing parts issue, the frame itself is of good quality and worth the money you pay for it but definitely expect poor instructions and potentially missing pieces.
Just put it together. It was fine as a solo job, took about 20 minutes, though Ive gotten pretty handy with an Allen wrench.
Not sure if it was just the one I got but--theres supposed to be four screws on each side with the metal and wood board. Theres two short metal pieces and two longer ones that connect. Theres supposed to be short screws holding both connecting sides, but with the way the short bars connecting piece is on one side, those short screws dont reach. It almost looked like the holes with the extending piece from each pole were put on the wrong way.
I just left it alone. The frame seems sturdy enough. I sat there after I was done, and not being a small person, I was glad it held up to the weight cap mentioned in the description.
The point of it is to look good and serve as an occasional guest bed. And it wasnt expensive, so all in all I say good deal.

Stylish but cheap planks
My 75lb daughter broke a plank literally the first time she sat on the new bed (mattress was on). Disappointed to say the least.
