    Guaranteed to get hurt

The slide is a death trap. My kids were so excited to have bunk beds with a slide. But we quickly discovered it was actually painful to use the slide. For starters its way too steep. Theres this weird wooden piece that goes at the bottom of the slide and it HURTS when you slide down and touch it. We decided it was better to not use the slide. So now its collecting dust in our garage. And the safety railing broke 2 months after we purchased it. Not sturdy at all. I wish I had returned this item while I still could

This bed is solid. My granddaughters love it. Worth the price.

Sturdy, easy to assemble, worth the money. Saved space in their room to play for when they spend the night.

    Worth every penny

Got this for my 4 year old daughter and son that is transitioning from a crib and they love it. The bottom bunk is perfect for a toddler.

Super cute, but NOT made for kids

Bought this almost 2 years ago for my then 7 and 5 year old. Kids LOVED it, but like so many of the other low ratings, within 6 months, the bolts were starting to come out. We'd tighten them, but then the ladder started to fall apart. Then the dowels holding the top railing snapped. My last straw was the slats holding the top mattress snapped. Needless to say in less than 2 years, I'm shopping for another bed. If your kids are actually kid-like, I'd be wary of the quality.

    Awesome bunk bed

My kids LOVE this bed! I think it was super easy to assemble as long as you have two people and everything you needed was included. You can put the stairs/slide on whichever side suits your room best. Having the lower bunk on floor level is also great for smaller children. Mine are 2 and 4, they have loved it and slept great as soon as it was assembled.

    Very sturdy made bed

Very sturdy and well made bunk bed. Not hard to assemble but easier with two people due to the size of the pieces.

We had to put something under the slide to make landing not so hard.

Assembly was good. Its stable and good deal for the price.

Great bunk bed for young kids

Product came nicely packaged. It was very easy to assemble, and is a much safer option for younger children as it is lower to the ground than most bunk beds!

    Mattress size and slide

After reading reviews, I was most concerned with what mattress size to get, sturdiness, mattress slats, and the angle of the slide. We have a 6 inch spring mattress on top (for jumping), and a 5 inch gel/foam on bottom (for sleeping). The first pic shows how a 6 inch mattress fits with the railing on top. I am 135lbs and climb on it with my 2.5 year old. With the exception of the front rail feeling like you shouldnt pull on it with all your adult weight when you climb the ladder, the rest seems very sturdy! No wobbling or creaking. I had intended to use both sets of mattress slats for the top bunk after reading reviews (and put the bottom mattress on the floor), but ended up installing the slats on both beds. It seems fine on the spring mattress, but you can feel them through the gel/foam mattress—more slats would alleviate this and be better! As for the slide, it is on the steeper side (Im not sure I wouldve even taken too much note of this on my own had I not read so many reviews on its steepness), but my 2.5 year old loves it and it hasnt phased or deterred her one bit. My husband helped hold the rails up during assembly (the only part that definitely needs a second person) but other than that I had it together on my own in two and a half hours.
