Bought this bunk bed less than 5 months ago. After less than 5 months the bracket holding the ladder in place broke. The rest of the bunk bed is doing ok but for the amount I spent on the bed youd think it would last longer. If it were me Id go with a sturdier bed.
We love how this bunk bed turned out!! I do not understand why so many reviews say it took over 5 hours to put this together. It took my boyfriend about 2 hours…. It was super easy!! We cant wait to surprise our kiddos with their new beds!
I was so excited for this purchase for my littles!!! Unfortunately, while the beds were simple to assemble tonight (thanks to my husband), the quality was very poor. The wood grain shows through the white paint, making it look almost yellow. Im surprised only 1 coat of paint was used. There are several traces of glue throughout the bed. The slide was dented after unpacking. Comparing this product to another that was $200-300 less expensive, I feel like I couldve saved money and received similar “lessened quality. Im definitely disappointed.
Assembly had us nervous at first, but directions were clear and easy to follow. Hubby and I put it together in a few hours. Our littles love it! Sturdy, and great quality. Worth every cent!
I ordered this bunk bed for my two daughters (ages 3 and 1.5 years old) but my youngest won't be sleeping on it just yet, as she's still in her crib until she turns 2 in September. Anyways, the shipment arrived quickly... But I received the wrong item at first (some type of exercise equipment instead of the bunk beds). That was frustrating, but the return process was very simple (UPS actually came right to my house and picked up the item received in error) and then the correct shipment arrived a few days later. My husband put it together with minimal help from me (he just needed me to hold some pieces steady). He said the directions were a little confusing in some places because there were no written instructions, just pictures. He's a welder/custom fabricator by trade (so he's used to building things, working with tools, etc.) And he used an impact drill with an Hexagon/Allen wrench drill bit set to put this together, but it still took him almost 3 hours all together. The beds are VERY sturdy; no wiggling or wobbling at all when I push on it, no creaking or cracking sounds when climbed on, etc. And I think the beds are very nice looking. I like that all of the bolts are painted white (to match the bed) so they are less noticeable. We had no damaged or missing pieces. There was no chemical smell at all, as some lady in another review claimed (she must be a super nose or just likes to complain). I also like that the ladder is easily removeable. You can bolt it down, but you don't have to (I remove mine during the day because my girls are still very young and I don't want them playing around in the top bunk during the day). The ladder slips over the side board with two brackets attached to top of ladder, which has little pads inside to keep from scratching the wood and also makes the ladder fit VERY tightly, even without being screwed in. All in all, I am 100% satisfied with this purchase.
Product was relatively easy put together however certain parts could have been simplified. Kids 4 and 2 absolutely love the bed and slide! Mom and Dad finally have a kid free bed!!

Stains on paint. Great Bed.
Successful first night sleep and Nap time. Children love it. It took maybe 2 hours to assemble. The wood did come with stains on the paint.
