    Great toddler bed

4 year old helped assemble, fun project together. Though the slats were not easy. Great guest bed for company, too

Still happy after a year of use

I did a ton of research when purchasing a bed and ended up with this one for my 7 and 2 year old boys. I chose this one because of the high weight capacity on the top bunk and the height of the top bunk (we can sit on the bottom bunk with plenty of head clearance). We also liked that we could get a separate standalone bedframe from the same company that matched for when our youngest son moves into the room. The bed has held up well over the past year. Its definitely been jumped and climbed on by the boys and its been fine. It does wobble a little more than I like and the ladder is a challenge for an adult to climb up, which is why I gave 4 stars. Overall Im still happy with this purchase. My father is a very experienced woodworker and he complimented the beds construction after he put it together. I think this is the best bed option at this price point.

    Very Happy! Happy kiddos too!

After going back and forth between a few different bed models, I ended up ordering this bed because the ladder was installed in a manner where it could remain removable ( to avoid my 4 year old climbing up to the top bunk ). And it worked out great, the bet is actually pretty sturdy, I wasnt my sure about buying this because when compared to other models it looks like it has less slats which equals less strength down the middle, but I was wrong, this bed actually has a metal brace that runs along the middle of the bed lengthwise to reinforce these slats. I assembled this bed after working a 12 hour shift and did it pretty easily after figuring out the orientation of parts on the first level, the second level was a breeze. I like that the ladder has two sets of metal hooks that capture the bed frame rather than just hooking in at the top end of the bunk like other beds Ive seen. The only real issue I had was one set of slats had a single bar twisted up from the factory on the bracing ribbon that is stapled to it, so I just pulled out the staples and screwed in the slat where it goes. Not a huge issue, but still annoying. For the price, this is a solid and very attractive bed.

    Sturdy and beautiful!

I never ever write reviews, but I honestly feel like I had to write this one because I was so hesitant to buy it based on some of the other reviews that I read about the sturdiness and also because I was wary of buying an entire bed off of . This isnt a paid review either, just my honest opinion. These beds are truly amazing and VERY STURDY. I purchased them for my two children, a 2.5 and 5 yr old. They love them and so do I! My husband put the bed together in about 4 hours by himself. Some could probably go faster, but we wanted to be sure of all the pieces and sturdiness. The only time I helped was with putting the top bunk over the bottom. That part will need two people. I was able to climb and lay comfortably on both beds. Yes, even the top. I am 160lbs. My husband can safely lay on the bottom bunk at 200lbs. Sometimes my daughter and I both lay on the bottom bunk. Both beds are sturdy and never wobble! We purchased the mattress also off of . We bought the Linenspa 8 inch memory foam and innerspring mattress medium-firm. It fits PERFECTLY. I would rate this bed 6 stars if I could, we had for about a month now!

Great bed- but definitely let it air out a bit

This is my sons big boy bed- he turns 5 in April and has been wanting a bed. We ordered it after reading the reviews, and so far he loves it and so do we. We used s set up service so I cant comment on how easy it is to put together. I have chemical sensitivities and so I wish we would have opened the box and let the wood air out for a while before we installed it. It smells like solid wood, which is fine- just strong!

Nice solid wood, but not many pre-drilled holes

This bed looks very nice. Solid wood, nice color, no damage. I was able to put it together by myself in about three hours (did not have a drill). Because it didnt have pre-drilled holes in many areas (it did have some), I had to work a bit harder, but it was ok since I did end up being able to finish.

    No regrets!

I absolutely love this Bunkbed! The expresso wood is gorgeous and its very sturdy. My 14 year old sleeps on top and its held up very nicely. I had my reservations about getting a bed and did a lot of research before purchasing this. I am very glad that we picked this one!

    super sturdy

Assembly was done in 3 hrs. No parts missing. Instructions were easy to follow. Very sturdy construction. The description indicates 400 pound weight...be sure to include the weight of the mattress. ( Note: certain mattresses may need slats that are spaced closer together) I contacted the company to ask if our 15 year old grandson, who weighs 140 pounds could sleep safely on the top bunk. They advise upgrading the slats to a set that are spaced closer together. I believe the company sells them for an additional $80. The bed slats that comes with the bed are spaced 9 inches apart with a metal support bar that runs perpendicular down the center of the slats. I decided to wait and upgrade the slats if necessary. It seems to me the original slats would be sufficient when SLEEPING as the weight is evenly distributed over the area but it may be wise to upgrade the slats if used when sitting on the bed where the body weight is over a small area.

    Overall good purchase

The instructions were not detailed at all. But if you have put together furniture before youll be able to figure it out. Once its put together it very nice. So good so far! im very pleased with the results.
