    Not bad

Assembly went pretty easy. Make life simple, have at least two people in the beginning. All the hardware was included and all screw holes mated well. A couple of the barrel nuts should have been recessed a bit more for a better fit but functional. I only have two issues one of which is out of their control just a friendly reminder. If you have a standard size kids' room forget about having a ceiling fan. The second is totally on them. I bought this because I thought it was a great idea to be able to convert the bottom to another bunk for a sleepover. I pray she never has one. As others have said it's going to be a total pain and to not have any future problems with those holes you're going to need at least 2 people. You have four bolts that hold the tabletop in place. Two for the steps on one side and two for one of the rails on the backside. You have to be able to get either underneath the bed for access to all four bolts or be able to pull the bed out from the wall to get to the backside. Unscrew them with your hex key and then lower the tabletop to the seat level and resecure in those corresponding holes. After the weekend repeat. I'm not an engineer so I can't think of a better design but they really need to find someone who can come up with one.

Overall good product with poor labeling.

Great product. Difficult to assemble because of labeling on pieces and the way its packaged. Some pieces slightly damaged.

    Great bed for price

We moved and lost some play space so I thought this would help make the most of what we have. The bed is fairly easy to assemble. I did it alone except for the part where you attach the tops to the sides, and I just needed my teens to hold either end up while I attached. The bed is sturdy, looks good, and the table and benches serve exactly the purpose intended. A great spot for games and art-making! Recommend a little light for the table.

    Missing hardware

Converting from desk to bed isn't easy. Have to remove hardware. Bed is very uncomfortable

Easy to build, but has some cosmetic damages.

My ceils are about 8 ft, so with an 11in foam mattress it leaves a little less than 3ft of sitting-up space.

Biggest drawback is adjusting the lower bed / desk configuration

firstly, it's important to say, my kids LOVE their new bed. It's meant to be my son's but I'm pretty sure my daughter has now successfully annexed the top bunk. Putting it together was fairly simple, it wasn't immediately obvious the orientation of some of the pieces during construction, which required 2 quite frustrating re-builds where I need to switch pieces around to get it all to fit. Technically it was my fault, but as a fairly competent self-builder, I'd say the instructions could have more clearly called this out. The biggest issue we have, is that we want the bed to be used as a desk by our son (primary purchase reason), but he and his sister have the novelty factor and want to use it as a double-bunk for now. Changing from the desk configuration to the bed configuration requires unscrewing, fiddly adjustment, and rescrewing, which is easily 15 minutes work, and requires me (my kids aren't strong enough to do it themselves). The result is that we are simply not re-configuring as a desk, knowing it needs to be changed again that night. I'm probably going to build a simple quick-release bracket to get around this issue, but that's likely not an option for everyone.

Its a great functional bed for the price.

I received one package the day after it was promised, but the other two packages arrived days later. I received all the pieces and hardware. A couple of pieces had small parts where the wood was split, which was lame. but they didnt affect the bed functionality. The instructions were fine to understand, all the hardware was labeled perfectly. Definitely easier with two people when putting the two sides up. The bed moves a little side to side when you climb in, but it is definitely sturdy. Pros: Fine (as expected, not too difficult) to assemble Love the functionality of the table under the bed. My daughter plays games with friends, makes art, pretty much everything at this table. Like that the table can move down to create a flat space for a bed area. Cons: The cushions are not very comfortable and the fabric is like an 80s camper. Some of the wood pieces had splits. The table does not go the width in between the seats and the seats are slats, so it is not a completely flat surface for the bed or the chairs. My baby walked on it and the cushion just goes down. Ill probably buy some flat board to fix this issue. There is no slant to the ladder and it is just a hit awkward to climb up and down. One final note. Someone mentioned about not being able to have a fan in the same room if your room is average sized. My daughters room is definitely on the smaller/average size and the ladder is definitely far enough away from the fan as long as its in the corner. It would not be safe centered in the room probably, but it works fine on the side.

Sturdy bed, great for young kids!

This is a very sturdy bunk bed. We bought it for our 2.5 y.o. (Transitioning out of a crib) and 5y.o. It took two adults 3 hours to assemble. Overall, were very happy with this bunk bed.
