My two children ages 2 1/2 and 4 use the bed. It’s perfect for them in regards to size, and saving space in their room. The removeable ladder keeps our 2 year old safely on the floor. We lift our older child up/down to access the top bunk for now. Assembly took 4 or 5 hours at least so be prepared for that. The bed is somewhat sturdy but we did expect better quality wood for the price. The bottom to top bunk clearance is very low (which has its advantages for toddlers) but an adult can hardly get in and sit up comfortably. Otherwise, I am happy with the purchase and would buy it again.
Love the look of this bunk bed and really like having my toddler close to the floor on the bottom bunk. It was really easy to assemble by my self in an afternoon. This was the highest weight rating that I found for low bunks at 400 lbs per bunk where many others were 200 lb limit. The only reason this is a 4 star rating instead of 5 star is because of the spacing of the support slats. They are too far apart in my opinion. So, I decided to put both sets on the top bunk and buy another set of supports for the bottom. Now both beds feel extra sturdy and you cant feel the slats through a foam mattress. Very happy with this product.
My 2 and 3 year old girla just moved into the big kid bed. They love this bed and enjoy the top bunk. The bottom bunk is so low they sont fall off at all. And the top is high enought that they wont rollover the bar and fall off. Its great!
Love this bunk bed! I love that the ladder easily comes off so my 1 year old doesnt climb up it when top bunk isnt in use. I love that it is a floor bunk so my 1 year old can easily get in and out. Also that the top bunk isnt that high so 5 year old is comfortable. Very happy with this product.
We love this bunk bed set. It’s stable with no swayig or shaking. Easy to assemble with my husband and myself. Perfect size for smaller children but still gives the space of a full size bed. My husband was skeptical about bunks but once we got them together and made up he was won over by these.
The only problem we had was the middle rung of the ladder broke at the dowel on both sides when my 5 year old was climbing up. She wasn’t jumping or being rough and it snapped. She also only weighs 45lbs. My husband is a custom cabinet builder so he made a new rung to match and reinstalled it with L brackets. So far no other issues or problems.
I would still recommend these beds ?
I would not recommend this bed. I bought this bed for my 2 and 4 year old last year. The bed is no longer useable. The wood pieces under the mattress break very easily. It was also a pain to put together. The end pieces for the head and foot board kept falling out. It is a beautiful bed but do not expect it to last especially if you have active children.
This bed is great. I was a little skeptical at first because of how low it looks. Its a lot better than i expected. Not sure why some people said the instructions were not good enough. I thought the instructions were actually pretty easy to follow. My only complaint is that there was four dowel pins missing on the steps of the ladder. No big deal i bought some at lowes for like 2 bucks.
this bed recommends children 6 or older only on top bunk...It arrived quickly...and the assembly took some patience but the finished product is very nice...sturdy...and not too high....bottom bunk is a great place for younger children . This bed had a label saying it was made in Vietnam... every piece was there...and every piece of hardware ...It is a soft pine wood....but very sturdy and I am delighted with finished product. I bought 6 inch mattresses and they fit perfectly.

Perfect stable bunks for smaller kids ??
