One person can put it together easily (I am 5 5 and 57, and did not have a problem, but the side pieces are a bit bulky so get help if you have back trouble). Just be sure to look inside the pieces for more pieces. Ingenious, compact design on one box!
I ended up buying second one after we put first one together for our corporate apartment. It is light, comfortable to sit on and fits its purpose. It looks pretty decent also. The price is perfect. If you have pets this is something you can buy and change easily if damaged. Very easy to assemble!

Ive had this couch for 8 months now. It is my main living room couch. I have taken many naps on this couch, and I use it daily as my primary seat. It looks just as great as the day that I bought it. I am considering buying another one for a different room. One of the best values that I have found on this site. One thing to note. I am 511 and my feet hang off the edge when I lay on it. I dont find this uncomfortable, but others might. Other than that, absolutely no complaints. It cleans easily with a vacuum. It hasnt lost any of the support, despite being used many times.
It was easier than I thought to assemble. Its a great looking couch. Its comfortable to sit on, its just not that great to lay on. It seems a bit light where the back end will pop up if you put your weight on the front. Im a bigger guy so maybe avg. size people would not find this a problem. Great value for the price
About a year and a half ago, I moved in to a new apartment. It had a big living room and dining room, great yard, and was close to my work - it was my dream apartment. Until I started moving in, and my couch got stuck in the hallway... After several hours, many bruises, and a thorough investigation of whether the glass could be removed from the front windows, I came to the sad realization that there was no way I was going to fit my couch up the tight turns of the staircase and into my place. I gave away my old couch, and bought a tiny loveseat. It was the worst. Not only could I not lay on it, but I could barely have another person sitting on it without worrying that the cheap, unsupported bottom would give way and leave us on the ground.
After a lot of research, I came across s At Home sofas, which are shipped in easy-to-assemble pieces in a box that is less than half the size of typical sofas. I purchased the Copenhagen, and couldnt be happier with my purchase. The box, which i would estimate was less than 3.5 ft by 2.5 ft, fit up my stairs with absolutely no problem, and the assembly was easy. I did it alone while watching a movie and thinking about what an awesome independent woman I am.
The sofa is sturdy and attractive, large enough to stretch out on (even with another person), but compact enough for small spaces. The brown fabric wears well, and matches my decor perfectly. The only thing that knocks it to 4 stars is that neither the seat cushions nor the back cushions are reversible. Aside from that, its a great piece of furniture!
I had a lot of doubts about this item. I was worried if it would be comfortable enough as a main living room piece of furniture. My daughter rented an apt. in old colonial house that was built in 1814 and not designed for large pieces of furniture to fit through the hallways and doorways. This was a perfect solution to furnish her living room. I was unsure how sturdy the sofa would be coming in two pieces but was pleasantly surprised. The packing is ingenious and the whole thing fit in a box no bigger than a dishwasher. It went together without any tools and once the vacuum packed cushions expanded, the couch is fully functional and comfortable. Good price and value.
We just put ours together and we love it! We really bought it to replace the shabby chair we had for our Terriors..They Love it and we are getting the doggie couch cover tomorrow..Perfect buy! Easy Peezy
I am very happy with this sofa. I have a small family room and this fits nicely. I am 5 2 and I have plenty of room. If you were very tall, you might have a problem. I was surprised as to how well it was packed all in 1 box and how easy it was for me to put together by myself. There were reviews that had written that there was 1 leg in the middle and they were worried about the construction, well you do not need to worry about that because there are 2 legs in the middle of the sofa and it seems very sturdy. I also thought the price was very good. I am very pleased with this purchase!
