    Awesome chair

This is a great chair for a great price. I ordered it for my sons nursery and its the perfect size for his room. Not too small, not too big. Its really comfortable and the quality is there. We have also have a top of the line dutalier chair and ottoman that I purchased for my first child which was way more expensive, but I prefer rocking/gliding in this chair. Its also modern and adult enough to use in other rooms of the house later on. The delivery was quick, chair came in perfect condition and already assembled.

    Sleek, petite, and functional

So far, I love our Madison Swivel Glider. The slate color goes great in our Gray nursery. I have yet to use it for breastfeeding, but so far I love sitting on it and reading to the baby in my belly. Its sways very smoothly and I love that it swivels. Happy with my purchase!

Nice chair, better for toddler room, stain resistant

I purchased the Ecru. The seat of the chair is a little narrow and the arms are high so I wouldnt recommend for infant feedings but it works great for reading to/ occasionally rocking my toddler (21 months) to sleep. The fabric is awesome! He recently got berry stains on it and they wiped right off with soap and water.

    Worth it

Perfect size and value / were new parents, and didnt realize how valuable a chair with these features could be at feeding time, especially in the wee hours of the morning. Definitely worth it.

Very cute and compact for a small space

I bought this glider because when I read the reviews customers said that it was comfortable and great for a small space. I completely agree with them, not to mention I believe its a piece of of furniture that can be useful beyond the nursery. I didnt like the way regular rocking chairs would take triple the space and then become an eyesore. This is cute, comfy and I have already gotten many compliments from family and friends. I hope my baby likes it as well when she gets here. My 3 year old can has no problem using it either, so thats great.

    So Far.Love It

When my mom went to Walmart and looked at the Storkcraft glider I had put on my baby registry, she declared it a piece of junk and told me to order something nicer and shed pay. After lots of research I decided on this glider, sight unseen. It arrived in the mail last week with the box pretty beaten up, but the chair otherwise intact and looking great. I loved that it was as simple as removing from the box and placing it where we wanted. Even though our baby isnt due until next month and weve only had this chair for a week, Im impressed with it. It seems to be built very sturdy. Im a larger woman (59 and 230 lbs at 8 months pregnant) and I fit just fine. I was concerned if this would be more of a rock vs. glide action based on some reviews, but this definitely glides. The gliding is very smooth and quiet. The swivel motion is also effortless and smooth. We got the slate color which is a darker gray. Its not too dark, and not too light. The fabric is VERY soft to the touch, but feels substantial. The seat cushion seems to be a high density foam that will last (time will tell!). As other reviews indicate, you can see the metal tracking underneath the chair. This doesnt bother me one bit. This chairs seat is a tad low for my tastes, but its definitely in the acceptable range of seat height. I prefer higher chairs and beds, so this is really a personal preference. As others have stated, this chair is not ideal for sleeping in. Id recommend a small lumbar pillow to use with it. The seat is comfortable as is, but a small back pillow would help with comfort if you choose to slouch down and attempt to sleep in it. I love that this chair can be put in our bedroom or living room when our baby grows out of it. Overall, even though weve only owned this chair for a week or so it seems to be sturdy, good looking, and well/built. I have no reservations that it wont last for years to come.

    Purchased for nursery

We got the chair and it was all put together/ all we had to do was take it out of the box. I loved that! The color is as shown/ a darkish gray. I love that the chair both swivels and glides. It will make it much easier to reach what I need when the baby gets here. It isnt quite as comfortable as I expected it to be, but Im hoping that once I start using it everyday it will break in and not be so stiff. This probably isnt great for taller people. Im 5 5 and I think its comfy, but my husband wasnt impressed. Overall, Im happy with it. I wanted something that can be moved to a different room once we dont need it in the nursery any longer.

    Noisy Glide action

I love chair itself, but the glide action is not silent. It makes noise when it gliders and moves, like its not on correctly. The box was pretty beaten up when delivered and the chair itself had some dirt marks on it. On further inspection, one the the rubber pieces was broken off the round metal base and the base is not even which attributes to the noisy movements. I am currently in the process of working something out with I will keep you updated on the outcome.

    great small footprint rocker

We have a VERY small nursery, and we needed a rocker that did not take up much room. Also, our nursery is done in black/ white/ grey, not browns (the color sceme of most rockers), so the grey color was perfect. The only sacrifice with this rocker is there is no head rest, but my husband has been able to fall asleep in it just fine We just purchased a separate nursing stool for our feet, and it works perfectly, because the stool can easily be moved out of the way when not in use.
