I read ALL the reviews on this chair and debated for a while whether or not to purchase it sight unseen given some of the negative comments on the issues with delivery. We decided to take a chance and were glad we did. The chair arrived very quickly and in good condition. It comes, as others have stated, in one piece. You literally open the box, take the chair out and sit in it. It rocks and swivels and is super comfortable. My husband who is 6 foot, is comfortable in the chair. It will also look good in its use after we no longer need it in the nursery.
I originally received the chair and it was damaged. The chair frame was bent, squeaky, and did not glide correctly. The packaging for the product was absolutely awful. It was a box with very little foam to protect the chair.
On the flip side the customer service was great. They sent out a new chair immediately and paid for the return shipping of the damager chair. The new chair arrived in good condition. The chair looks great in babys room and is very comfortable. I got this chair because I wanted a chair that could be used in a babys room but could later be used in a living room. This chair will be great for that purpose. My wife did mention that the chair is not ideal for the late night nursing sessions as the chair back is not high enough to rest her head on.
Overall I would have rated this chair as a 5 star but the bad packaging and damaged first chair forced me to knock it down a star.
I am amed at what a great chair this is for the price. Its very comfortable and has a great gliding motion. Also very stylish and modern / EXACTLY what I was wanting! True its on the small side, but most nurseries are relatively small so this chair wont take up too much space. Also, my husband and I both find it quite comfortable and were 65 and 6 respectively.
I just love this chair! The size is just right for our nursery, which is on the smaller side. The chair isnt bulky at all, but I dont consider it too small either. The fabric is nice and the color is very true to the picture. Its really great too if you are short, as its easy to get in out of which will help prevent disturbing a sleeping baby.
My husband and I were looking for a modern glider for our smallish nursery and this glider fits perfectly We ordered the grey which looks beautiful in our baby girls pink, white grey nursery! Its super comfortable and glides and swivels. I know others have complained you can see the black tracking, but its really not a big deal, if youre not looking for it, you wouldnt even notice it. We had a really hard time finding a small profile glider thats modern and not cry expensive and this glider is exactly what we were looking for. If you dont mind that this glider doesnt have a high back, then youll love it Super comfy and we paired it up with a Moroccan white leather poof to use as an ottoman!
I searched high and low for a glider that would fit in our NYC apartment and not look too babyish. Every inch of space counts here and I didnt want to end up with something that would look out of place once the baby is a little bigger. This chair is just wonderful. The color is so pretty / nicer than in the pics (a bit lighter), super soft, has great back support and glides without making a sound. It is very contemporary and looks much more expensive than it is. A steal compared to the thousand dollar rockers out there Highly recommend it!
My daughter who is 6 still likes to rock in evenings before bed and I am not passing this up so wanted to get her something big girl like for her new room. This fits the bill!
This is a great looking glider, well made and comfortable. Its not that great for breastfeeding or lounging in because of the low back. I think itll be better in a few years for story telling time
We are expecting our baby Sept. 2013 and havent actually sat in it with our baby yet, but as far as chair comfort goes, its very comfy. The neutral slate grey color is beautiful and fits well in our nursery. The chair came fully assembled too!
2 minor cons are there is no place to rest your head back. This issue may make it hard while nursing. Although the product came in pristine condition, the box looked like it had gone through hell. We were happy to open the item and have it look so great.
The chair is great quality at a price way lower than other gliders we considered. The first one we received make a noise when gliding. We contacted right away and they were wonderful! The new one arrived today and no sounds at all when rocking/gliding. It fits perfect in our small nursery and we are purchasing an ottoman pouf to use with it as a foot rest. We liked this chair because it can easily transition into our bedroom when we are done using it in the nursery. Thank you again for your great customer service. We love this chair and would recommend to others!

Fantastic, stylish and comfy glider for small spaces
