I put this together by myself with relative ease (reasonable small woman). Patience and not tightening all bolts until the end helped. Directions were clear, parts were obvious.
I have a thick foam mattress boxspring on top of this . Two height settings, think about your choice well before setting it up! Initially, I did the tallest one. Had a heck of a time getting my heavy mattresses/boxspring onto the and hated having to jump up into bed, plus it looked silly with the curved top of barely peaking above. I had to take a lot of stuff apart to redo it.
This is just what I wanted for the money.
One star was deducted for the difficulty encountered removing the large label, once the bed was assembled. Removing the label prior to assembly would have been a little easier. Assembly was relatively easy as the instructions were well organized and the pieces well marked. The bed is sturdy and looks great, an excellent value.
I bought this bed for my daughter as a house warming gift. It was an upgrade from her IKEA bed that she had for 12 years. Sadly to say it is coming apart in a way that is not fixable and cannot afford to do this again Seriously disappointed because I went by the reviews.

Absolutely beautiful, but not easy to assemble! It took two of us almost two hours to fully assemble the bed . To the manufacturers credit, the parts were well labeled and the directions were fairly clear, there were just a LOT of parts and a LOT of steps. Worth it for how nice it looks now though!

Great quality and can be assembled by one person, although it would have been much quicker and easier at times with two people.

I really like the looks of my bed. It seems to be sturdy. It took me awhile to put it together but I am a woman and did it by myself.
