It was easy to assemble from the standpoint of simplicity, but tightening the screws in wood that wasn t pre-drilled with the tiny tool provided was a challenge. It seems very sturdy and well made, but time will tell. I purchased this for the front porch to go with the chair I found earlier this year at TJ Maxx.
You get what you pay for. The chair is light and thus it feels a bit fragile. If you re only looking for porch decor and seldom use than this is perfect. Not super sturdy to ensure frequent wear and tear. Assembly is easy but not all buttons stay in so I recommend using a wood glue for those.
LOVE THIS CHAIR!
I struggle so much with finding furniture that looks nice but is also comfortable. I am 5 feet tall so I need the pouf in order to rock in it or else my feet won t touch the ground. I am also able to fit comfortably in any furniture I buy. It s my husband that makes it challenging to find furniture because he is roughly 6 5 . This chair is deep enough for him to sit comfortably and I am so grateful that I found this for an affordable price!
I loved the two I bought last year for my front patio so much I bought another two this year for my back deck. Super comfortable for me. I managed to put them together by myself but it was a lot easier last summer when I had someone helping out. I don t think I d have managed it by myself if I hadn t already put the other two together last summer and had an idea what I was doing. Kind of awkward and required a second set of hands to make it easier, but all together not difficult just a bit awkward by myself.
Looks beautiful in our nursery and suuuper easy assembly. I just love it! The back feels a bit spongy when sitting in it so hoping a lumbar pillow may help. If you re going for absolute comfort I d say shop around and actually sit in chairs at furniture stores. Following other reviews and getting material for the legs/feet of the chair as it slides around on hardwoods
I keep this porch rocker on a covered porch where it does not get wet. I have owned this rocker for about one month and the specially formulated polyurethane paint has failed in two separate areas. The paint lifted up and flaked off. I will have to repaint the entire chair so that it will be uniform in color and texture.

Wood split after after being sat in twice .
Nice rocker!
Bought two for my cabin. We will see how durable they are after time. They look great and are comfortable.

Such a beautiful chair!!! Back support is a bit lacking
