Was very pleased with the purchase and very happy with the daybed. It did come in a bit of a banged-up box but it was stated that it would come that way. All parts were accounted for fairly easy to assemble very very happy

Pretty but weak. 225 POUND WEIGHT LIMIT?

Good product, lots of people seem to have had insane difficulty putting it together which I dont really understand. If you know how to use gravity and a floor then it shouldnt be hard at all. You honestly dont even need the foam inserts to keep the wooden pieces stable but Id I digress. Its not the difficulty of putting it together but rather the absurd 225 lb max weight limit that is ridiculous. The point of a daybed is that you should be able to use it as a comfortable place to gather when not being used for sleeping. Almost invariably multiple people will be on it at the same time. The wooden slats are in theory meant to be an integral part of the construction of the bed although it seems pretty stable without them. I am going to take some measurements this weekend and see if its possible for me to support the frame with a low profile metal bare bed frame. Hopefully I can make it work so I dont worry about it breaking apart during my jumping jacks routine.

    Momma is happy.

I purchased this for my 81 year old mother who has recently become bed ridden. Her bedroom is away from the main room and she was feeling left out of the family gathering time. This Madison Daybed now serves as a lounge sofa for extra seating as well as a bed for Mom when she wants to get out of her bed. It is very comfortable and at the perfect level in height that she does not require assistance to get up or out of the bed. Well pleased with the product from the time it arrived until the first time Mom smiled as she sat on it and swung her legs around to lay down. It is perfect
