Package said 10 by 10 and website said square but like many other people we got an octagonal umbrella and of course returning it is going to be a hassle.
NOT square. Set it up and this is octagonal, not square as I needed. Returning for a refund, not going to take a chance on a replacement given the other reviewer that has had the same problem.
We bought this in red. Very nice fabric, very sturdy and well made. We bought the Offset Patio Umbrella Base which is sold separately, after reading reviews. The umbrella is too top heavy to stand on its own without the weighted base.
We bought the 10 foot umbrella and love it all materials are high quality and it is very easy to open and close. strongly suggest spending the extra money for their base it comes in one piece and the umbrella mounts easily to it, it has two openings to fill with water and the umbrella is not going to be blown around, very satisfied
