We love . This bed is a solid piece of furniture. Im very please with the purchase. This is slightly bigger than I expected but it looks great. My 7 year old loves it and cant wait to start using it. Love the stairs instead of a ladder. service was great. Thank you.
This is a good solid bunk bed with just a couple flaws:
1. The railing for the steps feels quite flimsy. We have to tell our son not to lean on that railing out of fear that it will snap and hell go flying.
2. Likewise, the top rail (the long rail that keeps someone from falling off the top bunk) feels a bit flimsy. Were not worried about that one. It seems safe, but there should probably be two additional vertical supports to keep the long rail from feeling so flimsy.
3. There were one or two cases where I had to create pilot holes and insert screws in a location other than the one specified in the directions. This didnt affect the look or function of the bunk bed, but its annoying to come across that type of error.
As far as assembly goes, assume that you might have to spend 6-8 hours on this if youre doing it yourself (and youll probably need someone to help you hoist the top bunk). The packaging and instructions are fantastic and the assembly is quite easy (in my opinion), but there is SO MUCH to assemble that it just takes a long time. There are literally hundreds of things to screw, attach, tighten, etc. I started building this in the afternoon thinking people say it took them three hours, this will be quick. Then it was 11pm and our kids were still up because I was still finishing it. If someone posts a video of themselves putting this together without any help (other than someone to help them lift the top bed) in three hours, I will send you many Schrute Bucks.
P.S. One key piece was broken right out of the box. I sent an email to the company and they shipped a replacement piece for free very quickly. Im not going to let that alter my 4-star rating, but its something you should know about.
This bunk bed was so funtional and reasonably priced. My boys love it and I dont even need a dresser because theres adequate space to put their clothes and uneven use the bottom drawers to store toys. Big plus with the gray color-I looked everywhere for this exact bed style (twin over full, stairs, with storage) in this color and this was perfect.
Great bang for your buck. My wife and I were looking for bunk beds for our 3 and 5 year old. We looked locally and prices were $500-$1000 for something similar. Free shipping option only took 5 days to receive. Two boxes were shipped doubled boxed which was great. The wood materials used are very solid and real pine. There was a smell after unboxing, but it seems to be better after a week. The hardware was good except for a few of the wingnuts, but I made it work. Took me about 3 hours to build by myself. Would have been nice to have another set of hands. You definitely need someone to help you lift the top bunk into place, but the rest of the job can be completed solo. Would definitely recommend and would buy again.
My boys love this bunk bed. They are very sturdy and look amazing. It was not very difficult to put together. I did it alone until it came to placing the top bunk on the lower bunk.
love the beds. sturdy, my granddaughters love them. dad said that he had quality time with his oldest, as he had her help him putting it to gather. shes 5.

Very happy with this
Very happy with this. Took 3-4 hours to assemble. Packaged well, without too much styrofoam to worry about. Bed feels solid.
