This bunkbed is the perfect height for my 3 year old and 1 year old. It was not much taller than our crib, and the low bottom bunk is perfect for kids transitioning from a crib to a real bed.
Very sturdy, and fairly easy to assemble. My hubby and I spend about 2.5 hours working on it. Would buy again. Only negative is that they only give you the exact amount of hardware, and a screw was defective. Luckily it was for the slats, and it's a fairly standard part to replace.

I was skeptical on how it was going to be from the reviews, but took a chance and everything showed up great. The assembly was done with both my husband and I since our two boys 5 and 3 1/2 try but reverse help. It did not take long at all to assemble. My 3 1/2 year old loves it. It is tall enough to have a fort underneath and short enough that I'm not too worried about the height. It is very sturdy for them! I would not suggest an adult climbing in the bed. So we bought another one for our 5 year old, since the 3 1/2 year old needed out of the convertible crib immediately. The second bed came with a defect on one of the posts. I was worried contacting stores 123
because they may be out for the holidays. They responded that day Christmas eve and even on New years eve. They kept me informed all the way through (till delivery of the new bed) and even gave me options right away. The new bed once they contacted the manufacturer was sent out right away and delivered within a week. Stores 123 exceeded my expectations for what a company would go through to replace a defective product: They responded within 24hrs, went out of their way to keep me informed even during the holiday season, and made sure I was happy with the delivery of the replacement product. The boys are so very happy with their beds. Thank you so very much Stores 123 (especially Amari). Highly recommend this bed as well as the company for its outstanding customer service.
My sons room has low ceilings so this was the perfect bed for him. After reading reviews I was worried about broken pieces but all were included and fine. Husband assembled in a few hours. We did add a piece of plywood under top bunk just for added support and because I did not like seeing sheet hang thru slats when tucked in.
The bed is beautiful. The height is perfect for my little ones.
BUT… the hardware is soft, thin metal. Stripped out bolts just using the hand tool provided. Just be careful when assembling. There is no extra hardware incase something goes wrong.
The hardware tries to screw threw the side of the wood. The wood is good quality and came with no scratches but who wants holes in the side of their bunk bed?
We knew we weren't buying top of the line, but our kids love the bed anyway. The sturdiness of the slats is an issue though. Kids want to jump on beds, plain and simple. You tell them no, but they do it anyway. Literally, one good bounce within a minute of the bed being set up and we ended up with a broken slat on the top bunk.
The crazy thing was that I contacted to see if they'd replace the broken slat, and they replaced the ENTIRE bed for us. I was shocked. My advice though is to add some sturdy boards in between the slats, regardless of WH's great customer service. It's just better not to have to deal with it.
Here are the slat specs if you're so inclined: 39-1/8 long. There's 2.5 (with clearance) spacing between each slat.

The assembly was the typical follow instructions and you'll have a finished product. This bed is EVERYTHING! The underbed storage is perfect. Plus it's the perfect size for 3 year old.
Love it! Kids love it! All though it turned out great and nothing came damaged. It does look like the support for the mattress are not durable enough for a kid to jump on the bed. My kids dont do that so its not a big deal. Im like a kid size and weight so I wouldnt know if it supports a heavy weight. It was easy to assemble,alot of pieces but instructions were clear. My son 9 can not sit up on the bottom bunk but my 5 year old can . Their mattress is a simple standard mattress. (Just incase someone had questions if another type fits)
This low loft bed fit in my daughter's bedroom perfectly! I love that it's not too high off the ground, but I can still fit her toys bins underneath. It's also very sturdy.
