Mirror image of LL Beans Adirondack Chair

I have several Adirondack chairs that I bought from LL Bean, and Im 99 sure this chair comes from the same manufacturer. The and LL Bean chairs are completely indistinguishable. The advantages I got from buying the chair from were (1) the chair was over 10 cheaper on versus LL Bean; (2) the delivery was free; and (3) I received the chair in two days on Prime, versus the 23 weeks delivery time quoted on LL Beans website. The chairs are very handsome and weather resistant. Adirondack chairs in general get a little uncomfortable after a long sitting, so be aware of that when you are buying any brand.

    IM NOT HAPPY

I purchased the AD5030 classic folding Adirondack. It came 98 assembled save for two nuts and bolts. I should have been more careful in looking at the illustrations. The following are my concerns. The back is flatnot curved The arm rests are small The slats for the seats are narrow The overall chair is in the small side. The only good thing about the product are the choice of colors. Other Adirondack chairs for sale are extremely limited in color selection. Given the high amount of money they want for these chairs I seriously cannot recommend this particular model.

Once youve got it together, its the best.

This is technically a foldable chair. However, due to how the chair is put together, to fold it you need to knock out a couple pins. I wouldnt want to do that on a regular basis, but it is something Ill do when putting it up for the winter. Hopefully Ill be able to find the pins in the spring. I had a bit of trouble finishing the installation. I had to disassemble part of the chair to get the bold holes to line up. Maybe I was doing it wrong, but the instructions werent particularly helpful. Having said that, let me say that this is my new favorite lawn chair. It is very comfortable, very good looking, and I expect it to be more durable than a similar wooden Adirondack chair. Also, similar Adirondack chairs are selling for nearly 400 locally, so this is a very good deal.

    Chairs

They are comfortable and not very heavy. The chairs fold up and store nicely!

    Good Chairs

The chair assembly directions were easy to follow but not so easy to do. Seems sturdy enough but time will tell.
