Decades ago we got a couple recycled Adirondack chairs from Sharper Image. These are pretty similar. That said, for the money, I expected that they would seem sturdier and that they would fit me a bit better. I am an average sized male and they are a little small. My short friends, fiance, mom all love them. That the company charges fifty percent more for a slightly larger version seems despicable. And they know theyll get it because the women love them! Waiting for a sale to get one thats more comfortable for me. That said, theyre not uncomfortable for an average man, and I think that theyll probably last a whilebut not as long as the others which were only destroyed by a falling tree limb in a hurricane.
I would only buy these on sale and had been watching for a good price drop for months. They ended up being an deal of the day and I didnt hesitate for one second to buy 4. I am not 100 bought into and the promises it makes yet but Im becoming a believer. So far these chairs have held up well in the rain and in the summer heat, They were built really well, a breeze to put together and feel sturdy for a big 300 pound guy like me. They clean up easily (rag and some warm soapy water) and havent chipped or faded at all. I think this was a great longterm purchase.

Sturdy and I just love them
Live near the ocean and salt is a problem. Chairs are fantastic. I just throw water over them to rid them of the sticky salt spray
