I really like these chairs. These are folding chairs. What really bothered me about this purchase is that they offer expert assembly at 114 for a single chair. I bought two. Being a reasonably handy person I did not purchase the expert assembly and expected to have to basically assemble the entire chair. The chairs came folded in their boxes completely assembled except for two bolts and two pivot dowels that had to be inserted and/or tightened. 114 to do the expert assembly of two bolts and two dowels. I never get assembly for anything I purchase and in this case is being completely disingenuous and predatory. Even if you do not know how a screwdriver works do not get the assembly and ask someone you know to do it for you for a couple of beers or something. I wonder how many other things on their site have assembly similarly priced for next to no work required.
Great kit chair. The only change I made was I bought 1 5/8 deck screws to replace the uncoated screws they provide. For a few bucks its means we wont have rust showing up if we leave these outdoors. My current plan is to bring them in every night as they seem to be white pine.
Can you assemble Legos? these chairs are the next step up. You will need a decent drill/driver, this many screws will strip the skin off your screwdriver holding hand Lay out the pieces, make sure you have everything set up like the drawings screw like a little monkey. : )
