Dark color also allows nicks and scratches to be colored/hidden by using a brown or black marker
Cons:
Wood smelled for a long time when we received it
Wood had some scratches and dings
Felt the need to add additional 3/4 plywood support to both bunks for more structural support
Our son cut up his face when he would forget about the top bunk in the middle of the night on the supports (Pro/Tip Idea I had was to buy some 1 pipe insulation from our local Sprawl/Mart and problem solved!
Overall, great addition to our boys bedroom!
My kids and I love this bed. One piece arrived damaged though. I havent been able to replace it. Otherwise this bed is great looking, comfortable, and strong.
The directions arent crystal clear and some of the pieces were mislabeled. Thankfully, common sense kicked in and we noticed before too late but, we still had to go back several steps first. Its a great looking bed amd my son loves it. Before you order mattresses, be sure to read the cautions and suggestions. Spring coil, 6, 8, etc. You will need 2 adults to assemble.
This piece of furniture seems like its great quality, especially for the price. I felt like assembly was fairly easy and all parts were labeled very well making the process pretty simple. It took me and one other person about an hour and a half to complete the entire thing. My kids love it and It even got my 4 yr old out of my bed!
I love these bunk beds! Got them for my 5 year/old son and he also loves them. I had no problem with how the package arrived, and there wasnt any damage. It took a little while to put together, but that was to be expected. The quality was better than expected for the money spent. The only issue is that both mattresses arent on slats, and tend to sink if theres too much pressure in one area. We will have to put a piece of wood under the mattress to assure the bed does not sink through.

Did not take long to crack
I wish i could give it 5 stars, but today when I was cleaning I saw that some of the wood on the bottom has cracked
No instuctions!
Love the bed. But did NOT come with instructionsnow I am lost on what screws go where. YouTube it is I guess

Parts didnt fit
Some parts didnt fit together so we had to make do. Otherwise it is great for price.
Sturdy and nice
Took some time to assemble, but I anticipated that. Very nice and sturdy.
