I bought this umbrella last summer. Make sure that you get a very sturdy stand, the kind that you can tighten up hold the umbrella in place. When it gets windy, this thing flies away. Breaks tables, lands on your neighbors car. That being said, its huge. It proves great sun protection. But the dollar lights never did turn on, which was a bummer.
Its Huge! Easy set up. Its nice. My husband got it and never reads the reviews. I would not have gotten it if I wouldve known the base was not included. This set up is over 1,000. If you have a Costco membership, get from there. If not look else where with the whole set up and cheaper. My local grocery store has a nice umbrella set up for 700. I wouldve returned it but the box was already taken apart and its heavy.
After a particularly strong windstorm in our area and someone (me) forgetting to lower the umbrella, it sustained significant damage to the a couple of aluminum ribs and the disk shown in the photo. Rather than sending the umbrella to the landfill, I thought I would attempt a repair. I contacted customer support through their website asking is they could supply the parts needing replacing. To my surprise, they said they could! They quickly shipped them free of charge, including shipping. Cant ask for better service than that! They also provided very helping advice on how to go about with the repair. I would definitely recommend this product to others. Its very well made and easy to use. Although the description on s site for this product describes it as windproof, it is clearly not. But then again, no umbrella is in my opinion.
Very sturdy construction and terra color is rich and vibrant. It did take two of us to put together as it is quite heavy. Matches our patio cushions perfectly. Delivery was within a week and we are really enjoying the outside now in the evening when the sun is directly on our patio. Havent had a storm yet so we are hopeful it will hold up!
