The only negative was two metal insertion plates had to be straightened to put back on. It would be a problem for the more frail population. I put it together for my mother. She loves it.
I am very impressed with this chair and especially like the heat and massage feature. This is our third one for the home all purchased on and this one is my favorite.
This chair is comfortable, but massage is too rough, heat is too faint. I wish that foot elevation would come up higher. No user manual or reference to where I could get a manual was included. The cords for the 2 remotes are very short and should longer.
First it did not come with assembly instructions. Nothing no book, no sheet nothing. We searched for videos and found one. They make it sound like its three clicks and thats it. Well maybe if you put 20 of them you would know the trick. The back did not click in and we had to maneuver it with a screwdriver. The sides we had to put the chair in the incline position to align the slots.
Then the comfort level is not there on the seat part, its very hard. My mom cant reach the controls the cords are very short and the hook and pocket are so far when you are reclined.
The only thing I like is that it lays flat and that I can lift my mom almost to stand position.
I bought this because it had all of things I wanted. Independent leg and back reclining, heat, and lift. The massage is included and I really didnt expect to use it, but I have been in the chair more than my husband who I bought it for. The massage is not those hard moving parts, but a nice vibration that I can choose. The things that dont bother me but may be something not suited to others is - the seat is higher than my other chairs and may not be right for shorter people. The seat is also deep but not a problem when reclined. The chair is a firm sit rather than sink in cushioning. It does have lumbar support also. I choose dark grey chinelle which has a bit of a deep deep purple look in my lighting and is beautiful. But it is definitely grey, dont be dissuaded. I kept my cardboard packing just in case, I will put it in the recycle bin now. Lastly, very quick delivery.

Everything about these leather chairs are great. The electric reclining and lift are enormously helpful. Very inexpensive for what you get!
