When chair arrived it appeared that the carton containing the base had been opened and retaped with household packaging tape. No assembly instructions were in the packaging and one of the brackets that attached the seat to the base was badly bent. Because the chair was needed within the next two days for a surgical patient to sleep, my husband was successful in bending it enough to attach it. It was obvious that the piece had been returned. The chair seat is very narrow and it has a very stiff corded controller that does not extend far and makes it difficult to operate. A remote would be much better.
FedEx delivered the chair to the wrong address, about 1/4 of a mile from my house. Lucky for me, the people knew where I live and were kind enough to bring it to me. I was also told the FedEx person dropped the boxes from the truck to the ground, and then dragged them across the road to the house. There was a lot of damage to the boxes, I took pictures of them, just in case. The chair looks OK, just hope there was no damage to the internal workings.
It took quite a bit of effort to put this chair together, it is very heavy. After struggling for over an hour, I did get it out of the box. ( Im 77 years old, it might be easier for a younger person) Once the base was in place, the rest was easy to put together. Instructions are lacking, I suppose its self-explanatory looking at the pieces. As Im sitting in the chair, testing the electrics, so far so good. I find it quite comfy. However, my feet are hanging over the footrest, Im 57. I had asked about this specific and I was told by two people, one 6 and one 62 they had no problem, it fits them well. Dont know what Im doing wrong, but my feet are hanging over the edge.
The hook on the remote brook after one day of use. I believe this has happened because the boxes were dropped from the FedEx truck. I contacted house through , explained what happened. I received a completely new remote within 3 days. Im very impressed with customer service, they contacted me immediately, stayed in contact until the problem was solved. houseis an excellent company to do business with.
We bought this chair for our 95 year old grandma and when she sat in it, she was so happy! She loved the leather and she said it was extremely comfortable. When we told her it has massage and heat too, she was so happy she cried. Thank you for such a great experience.
This chair is such a bargain! Decades ago I got a lift recliner for my Mother, it cost more than this and did not have the heat/massage feature. It was easy to assemble, I was missing a wheel, but I contacted the seller and it was shipped to me very quickly! I got the blue fabric which is very nice. Now I just have to evict a cat to use it, he seems to think I bought it for him!
The recliner was delivered to me in one shipping day. WTHey??? Should have paid more attention to the shipping notifications. There were no assembly instructions, but it was easy to figure out. Simply slide the back and the two armrests onto the base and there you go. Attach the power supplies and the remaining remote control and you are finished.
We received it in less time than expected and it came in three different shipments. It was easy to assemble and has worked corrcetly since we turned it on. We consider it very reliable. It cost 1/3 of what a similar model would cost from a health equipment store or from La-Z-Boy. And they all said it would be 6 months before they could get one to us. It is a great buy!

Wrong color
For one thing I had ordered red-brown color. I received a brown one. It is not as comfortable as the recliner I had to get rid of to get this chair.
